I love the brilliant colours!
Also it is a really powerful scene, and the way you did it, reminds me of these old illustrations from the 1800's

That is crud. I mean, just look at it. Frodo does not look like an old man! I mean, yes he is fifty but that is a young age for a hobbit after all, an Tolkien describes him as 'fair face, elf-friend.' None of them look like that! The picture is rubbish.

Cool pic. Just one thing wrong. SINCE WHEN HAVE HOBBITS HAD WEBBED FEET!!! I mean COME ON! Sorry if you find this rude or anything. It is a lovely picture. Also both the hobbits look quite clean. How do they do it!? If I went on a long trip in the mountain I would NOT be that clean!

I really like all your pics, and a lot of credit to you for having your own style and for holding on to it,eventhou some commenters are so rude when things and people doesn't look like the peter jacksson version or whatever..Don't you have imagination of your own folks? As i said, I think your style is excellent. And all the details people complain about, the hairless swimfriendly feet..the chubbiness..don't care.Cause hey, this is your art and it's your version so therefor it's your hobbits,so really;there is nothing wrong about it,you did a nice piece of art with the basic storyidea of tolkien and spiced it up with your own details=)
I really like the colors in this one,and the climbing plants on the rock..And oh!I really like the gollums in the other pics to,especially the one when his paddling his boat..

I'm all set to leave you nice people (and some not so nice) alone now..hope you'll live happily ever after, bye!

I like this picture and all of your work.

I know they don’t look like the movie version, but I like seeing how different people picture Tolkien’s world. I myself see hobbits as not looking completely human, so the web feet and such seem an interesting difference to me. I also love the colors in your images and how you portray the emotions in the eyes of your characters.
